IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Operating the engine with loose or damaged
air cleaner components could allow unfiltered
air into the engine causing premature wear
and failure.

Remove precleaner
Carefully lift out the precleaner from the fan 4.
housing. Clean the fan housing so debris
does not fall into the carburetor.
Install a new precleaner and the new

or cleaned air filter element into the fan
housing.
Align the tabs on the cover with the slots in 6.
the housing and replace air filter cover.

Close the cover
Pull the handle outwards. Secure the handle 7.
in the air filter cover and press inwards to
close.
