HP warranties are clear, fair and easy to manage, giving you and your customers
the knowledge that any defects will be resolved without question. This at-a-glance
guide explains the levels of warranty that apply to different HP inkjet printing supplies.
Ink cartridges
HP ink cartridges are warranted to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for cartridge life until the HP ink is depleted, or the ‘end of warranty’
date has been reached, whichever occurs first.
Inkjet print cartridges
HP inkjet print cartridges are warranted to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for cartridge life until the HP ink is depleted, or the ‘end of warranty’
date has been reached, whichever occurs first.
Printheads
HP printheads are warranted to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for printhead life until the ‘end of warranty’ date has been reached,
or ‘typical usage’ (as described in the printer manual or contract) is exceeded,
whichever occurs first.
Warranty claims validation
We are committed to providing our customers with a consistently high quality
printing experience and we maintain these standards by supplying only original,
genuine HP products. Our warranty does not cover products that are empty or
have been modified, refurbished, remanufactured, misused or tampered with in
any way.
Returning HP product
In the event that a product proves defective, the customer should return it to the place
of purchase, where a replacement will be given. Customers should provide their
name, address, and phone number, as well as a brief description of the problem.
