Introduction

DW6000 purpose and
components
The DW6000 is designed to provide Internet or corporate intranet
connectivity via satellite through a single DIRECWAY
®
terminal.
The receive and transmit capability is housed in a single chassis
as shown in Figure 1.
Note:
The instructions in this manual apply to the
enterprise-class DW6002 also. The DW6002 includes all DW6000
functionality in addition to being equipped with an internal
modem for DIRECWAY Virtual Automatic Dial Backup
(DVADB).
