Properties
. The
New Connection Properties
window appears.
e. Click the
Settings
tab. See Figure 96.
f. Click ASCII Setup. The ASCII Setup window appears.
g. Place a check in the
Echo Typed Characters Locally
checkbox.
h. Click OK twice to close the
Properties
window. The
HyperTerminal session is set up.

Note:
When you are finished with a HyperTerminal
session, enter
Z
in the Main Menu to close the session on the
DW6000. DO NOT close HyperTerminal without ending
the session on the DW6000. If you do, the unit will freeze
for a few minutes.
