In order to reduce friction and weight, L-shaped, roller rocker arms are mounted on a single shaft. A
narrow valve angle (30 degrees) and a compact combustion chamber contribute to an increased swirl ration
of the air/fuel mixture, leading to better combustion.
Timing Chain System
Crankshaft rotation is transmitted via a silent type timing chain to the camshaft sprocket.
The illustration below shows correct timing when the crankshaft pully is at TDC.
