The generator is shipped
in the engine.
Refer to page
Place the generator on a level
surface. Open the right
maintenance cover by turning
its latch counterclockwise.
Add enough of the
recommended oil to bring the
oil level to the top of the oil
filler neck.
Use a 4-stroke motor oil that
meets the requirements for
API service classification SJ
or later.
SAE 10W-30 is recommended
for general, all-temperature
use. Other viscosities in the
chart may be used when the
temperature in your area is
within the indicated range.
Do not overfill engine oil. If
the engine is overfilled, the
excess oil may get
transferred to the air cleaner
housing and air filter.
Close the right maintenance
cover by turning its latch
clockwise.
