TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Engine overheats. Engine cooling system
clogged.
See authorized dealer.
Carburetor out of adjustment. See authorized dealer.
Oil level is low. Add oil.
Engine will not stop
running.
Defective throttle control
lever or wire.
See authorized dealer.
Poor trimming
performance.
Trimmer line length is too
short.
Correct line length is 52 cm
(21,5 inches). When less
than 1/2 this length, replace
the line.
Engine not set at FAST
speed.
Move engine throttle lever to
FAST position.
Trimmer vibrates.
Trimmer line lengths are
substantially different.
Adjust trimmer line to
approximately equal lengths.
Loose nuts or bolts. See authorized dealer.
Broken trimmer head. See authorized dealer.
Trimmer head does not
retain line.
Trimmer line not properly
attached.
Follow instructions on decal

Broken line retainer. See authorized dealer.
Trimmer line not correct size. Use 3,9 mm (0.155 inch)
