The SuperMet® Grinder is a heavy-duty rotary coarse grinder with rapid material removal rates
designed to planar grind specimen surfaces. The SuperMet
® Grinder comes with a balanced 12 ″
(305mm) bronze wheel powered by an 1800 rpm, 3 Hp (2.2 kW) motor, and a selection of
abrasive discs. It is offered in a 30
″ (762mm) or 36″ (914mm) table height, or without a table,
which can be custom flush mounted.

MiniMet® 1000 is designed for low volume laboratories preparing single specimens. This
semi-automatic grinder-polisher prepares a wide variety of materials using the three self
contained preparation bowls and easy-to-use touch panel controls. Its space saving design
employs a patented geometric action that combines the advantages of hand-lapping as well as
mechanical polishing. This motion provides a random polishing action, eliminating any induced
polishing artifacts. Comes complete with 3 polishing bowls, 3 glass discs, a small quantity of
consumables and operating instructions. CE marked.
