Begin to trace the cable from the point of application about 50-FT (15m) away 6.
Move slowly over the cable. Decrease or increase the sensitivity as needed 7.
direct Coupling using the SC-5000 Clamp
Plug the SC-5000 clamp into the T-5000 transmitter connection socket 1.
Place the clamp around the pipe or cable 2.
Switch the T-5000 transmitter on 3.
Set the T-5000 transmitter to the desired signal transmission 4.
Switch the R-5000 Receiver on 5.
Set the R-5000 Receiver to the desired signal reception 6.
Begin to trace the cable from the point of application about 15m away 7.
Inductive Coupling
1. Position the T-5000 transmitter above the presumed cable
2. Switch the T-5000 transmitter on
3. Set the T-5000 transmitter to the desired signal transmission mode
4. Switch the R-5000 receiver on
5. Set the R-5000 receiver to the desired signal reception mode
6. Begin to trace the line from the transmitter at least 15m away.
