The Large Aperture Metal Detector handles extra heavy duty projects, such as recycling, forestry, coal processing and
more, with its 2.6 ft – 14.8 ft. aperture width and 4.6 ft (max.) aperture height. Boasting the shortest metal-free zone in the
industry, the Large Aperture Metal Detector is manufactured with aluminum housings to provide total shielding against
transient influences that cause false/nuisance tripping. One of the most technologically advanced metal detectors for
recycling available, the Large Aperture Metal Detector features Cassel’s exclusive four-channel DDS and DSP
microprocessor for continuous accuracy and stability, plus a single board microprocessor with multiple filters that eliminate
undesirable noise.

No maintenance electronics: automatic balance and calibration of electronics ensure many years of reliable performance. After initial set-up, no further adjustment of
metal detector electronics is needed.

Outstanding stability and sensitivity: new "recipes" or changes to current data are easily programmed. Digital noise filters eliminate any undesired signals, while
multichannel technology provides optimum detection of ferrous, nonferrous or stainless steel contaminants by the metal detector. The integrated sensor is built to

High-speed Digital Signal Processor (DSP): highly effective high-speed processors support digital filters to provide more efficient product effect-compensation and
