Whole log metal detectors are used as a primary screening device to ensure that any tramp metal is identified and removed
from the log after debarking and before entering and damaging the headrig. Our exclusive round aperture delivers balanced
all-round signal for optimum sensitivity important with a variable diet of log diameters. Aware of space limitation in most
sawmills, our whole log metal detector boasts the shortest metal-free zone (MFZ) in the industry. Stainless steel housings
provide total shielding against false/nuisance tripping often caused bytwo-way radios, moisture and other sources typically
found in sawmills. If your mill processes a large variety of log diameters, the Super Power Drive may be a valid option.
