The METAL SHARK® metal detector for ultra-high sensitivity applications promises maximum
detection of magnetic and nonmagnetic contaminants. Designed to accommodate tight space
requirements, the METAL SHARK laboratory metal detector features an aluminum alloy housing
fabricated to IP67 standards, including a mounting frame and holding plate for an optional signal
horn and lamp. The metal detector boasts an FDA quality PVDF plastic downspout. As product
flows through the metal detector, metal contaminants are separated out of the flow via an optional
reject unit.
Boasting world-class reliability and technological superiority, Cassel metal detectors employ the
most advanced electronic components such as DDS (direct digital synthesizer) and DSP (digital
signal processing) technology. State-of-the-art digital technology eliminates costly maintenance.
