The METAL SHARK® compact Metal Detector for Meat Products satisfies the unique challenges of the meat and sausage industry. Easy
to attach between stuffer and clipping machines, this metal detector is compatible with most sausage stuffer machinery. Rugged and
mobile, the metal detector features a mobile base frame and a stand with integrated gas spring for easy height adjustment (33.5 in. - 47.2
in.).

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
No Maintenance Electronics: automatic balance and calibration of electronics ensure that the metal detector performs reliably for many years. After initial set-up, no
further adjustment of metal detector electronics is needed.
HACCP and IFT compliance: per HACCP principles, metal detectors are classified as critical control points and continuous checking is required to meet standards. If
requested, Cassel can integrate a performance validation system (PVS) which automatically prompts the operator to test metal detector performance at pre-set
intervals.
Operational history: metal contaminant detections, changes in parameter settings and other events are recorded with the date and time. Users can view the list of
"incidents" on the control panel or export the log via a serial port. Password protection prevents any unauthorized operation of the metal detector.
Ready for SHARKNET® software: to comply with HACCP and IFS standards, SHARKNET® enables automatic downloading of data documentation to a Windows-
based PC.
Meat-industry specific design: heavy duty stainless steel construction eliminates maintenance while ensuring reliable metal detection even in the harshest and most
demanding environments.
Easy cleaning: Cassel’s hygienic design allows the operator to easily disassemble the metal detector for daily wash down or steam hose cleaning. Cassel’s metal
detector design has proven especially useful in the sausage industry where wash-ups are conducted several times a day.
Opening for test rods: allows affirmation of proper metal detector operation in seconds without suspending ongoing production.

Phase tracking: the metal detector compensates for and readily adjusts itself for product effects
Precise metal detection at highest level: digital noise filters eliminate any undesired signals.
Multi-channel technology for the optimum detection of all kinds of metal: ferrous, nonferrous (aluminum, copper, etc.) and stainless steel.
Highly resilient: Cassel’s extra sturdy sensor construction allows consistent metal detector performance in extreme and harsh applications, while other brands often
fail. The sensor head is encapsulated entirely in a solid epoxy block, sealing and protecting the aperture for long-term wear. The METAL SHARK is ideal in even the
