In-line Plate Magnets (ILPM Series)
Application:
MPI’s Inline Plate Magnets (ILPM Series) are used in gravity-fed chutes and pneumatic conveying systems, which convey low-to-medium volume product streams.
Typically installed where product flows over the magnet face, Inline Plate Magnets provide optimal removal of ferrous tramp metal in a variety of gravity chute
applications. (Product photo at right includes optional tri-clover flange.)
Operation:
The magnetic pole face consists of (2) 400 grade, stainless steel magnetic poles for maximum holding value. Easy to install, ILPM series plate magnets feature a
hinged mount design for quick cleaning of the magnet surface. The strong magnetic field is effective in product streams up to 8" deep.
