Install the entire body nut and tighten both sides

evenly.

Install body and seat fittings.

Install the operator and verify smooth operation of

the valve and adjust the open/close stops.

Top Entry Ball Valves (Inline seat ring change)

Follow the next steps for replacing the seat ring.

Note: contact factory to obtain the special tool men-

tioned below.

1. Dis-assemble bonnet and stem sealing as

mentioned above.

Step 1: Turn valve to closed position. Disassemble the

bonnet and remove the stem.

2. With the special tool, hook the seat pusher towards

the center of the valve

3. Remove the split ring while the seat pusher is hooked

towards the center

Step 3: Remove the split ring

4. Push the seat pusher and seat ring back with the

special tool

Step 4: Push the blue seat pusher and the green

seat ring back into place

Step 2: Move blue seat pushing slightly to the center

with the special tool
