electrical equipment. Such interventions pose
life-threatening danger due to electric shock.
Before assembly, ensure that the available
mains voltage corresponds to the operating
voltage necessary for the light (220–240 V ∼).
If the mains power cable of this device is dam-
aged, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer
or its service department or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid hazards.
Please only use halogen bulbs of a rating of
max. 400 W (energy class C) or of a lower rating.
Avoid fire and
injury hazards
RISK OF INJURY! During unpacking please
check bulb and lamp glass immediately for dam-
age. Do not assemble the light with defective
bulbs and / or lamp glass. In this case contact
the service centre for replacement.
RISK OF INJURY FROM BURNS! Ensure
that the lamp has been switched off and has
cooled down before touching it, to avoid burns.
Bulbs develop a lot of heat in the area of the lamp
holder. Allow the light to cool down for at least
15 minutes before replacing a defective bulb.
Exchange a damaged lamp glass
immediately.
Replace faulty bulbs with new bulbs immediately.
1 m
FIRE HAZARD! Position the light
so that it is at least 1 m away from
the material to be illuminated. Exces-
sive heat can result in a fire. Therefore please
ensure that there is sufficient ventilation for heat
dissipation.
Do not adjust the light downwards.
Never look directly into the light. This could
result in damage to your eyes.
Never use the light without lamp glass or metal
covers. Otherwise there is a risk of injury.
Replace the broken protective shields immediately.
