RISK of Injury
•
Never reach into the running device
through the filler shaft. Do not insert
any items into the filler shaft. Also hold
long hair or loose clothing away from
the filler shaft. There is a risk of injury
due to the rotating knives of the crush-
ing mill.
WARNING about material damage
•
Never place the device on hot surfaces
(e.g. hot plates) or close to heat
sources or open fire.
•
Do not exceed the maximum operating
time of 10 minutes since otherwise the
device overheats which creates a fire
hazard.
•
Let the device cool down for at least
2 minutes after each operation.
•
Do not fill too much ice into the device:
The crushing mill may jam.
•
In the case of jamming of the crushing
mill, immediately turn the device off
and wait until the ice in the filler shaft
has melted.
•
Only use the original accessories.
•
The ice crusher has been designed for
the sole purpose of crushing ice cubes
made of pure water.
•
Ice cubes from fruit juices or with col-
our additives may not be crushed since
that can result in the crushing mill
becoming sticky or discoloured. The
ice crusher must never be used for
food of any sort. The leftovers cannot
be removed from the crushing mill.
•
The appliance is fitted with non-slip
silicone feet. As furniture is coated with
various varnishes and plastics and
may be treated with different cleaning
products, it cannot be completely ruled
out that some of these substances con-
tain components which may attack and
soften the silicone feet. If necessary,
place an anti-slip mat under the appli-
ance.
•
Do not use any aggressive or abrasive
cleaners.
•
Clean all the accessories of the ice
crusher by hand. They are not suited
for the dishwasher.
