What’s on the Back Panel?





1. Power

The AC adapter plugs in here – only use the adapter that
came with Xtender!

2. Reset Button

Pushing this button resets Xtender to its factory default
settings

3. Red Channel Input

Composite Video (Yellow) and Stereo Audio (Red/White)
input to Xtender – whatever you plug in here will appear
on the Red channel throughout the house

4. Red Channel IR Output

A cable with a stick-on infrared emitter on the end is
plugged in here and the IR emitter is stuck onto the front
of your a/V device so Xtender can send it commands
from your wireless remotes – Cables available in the
optional wiring pack.

5. Red Channel Video Output

This is used to pass a composite video/stereo audio
signal from your A/V device to a local TV

6. Green Channel Input

Whatever you plug in here will appear on the Green
channel throughout the house.

7. Blue Channel Input

Whatever you plug in here will appear on the Blue
channel throughout the house.

8. Green Channel IR Output

A cable with a stick-on infrared emitter on the end is
plugged in here and the IR emitter is stuck onto the front
of your A/V device so Xtender can send it commands
from your wireless remotes – cables are available in the
optional wiring pack.

9. Blue Channel IR Output

A cable with a stick-on infrared emitter on the end is
plugged in here and the IR emitter is stuck onto the front
of your A/V device so Xtender can send it commands
from your wireless remotes – cables are available in the
optional wiring pack.

10. Local TV Out

Coax cable output used for watching Cable/Antenna
programs or Xtender channels on a TV located near
Xtender. Note that if this output is used then one
Xtender remote must be dedicated to this TV – see
programming the remote.

11. Antenna Out

Coax cable output used for connecting DVR, TiVo, Cable
Box or anything else that needs Cable/Antenna input.
Note that Xtender channels are not available on this
output.

12. Antenna IN

Coax cable input – this must be connected directly to
the Coax wall outlet or run directly to the
SuperCombiner.

13. Antenna

Swivel antenna allows Xtender to communicate with
remote.
