INTRODUCTION & SPECIFICATION
Heavy-duty steel open style construction with mounting bracket for fix-
ing to wall or floor. Suitable for industrial applications or areas where
longer length of hose is required. Will hold up to 80mtr (260ft) of
Ø13mm hose. Screw operated drum lock.
3.
MOUNTING/ASSEMBLY
NOTE! Fit reel to wall before fitting hose to reel.
3.1
Fix the reel in an appropriate position ensuring that the wall and the mounting screws and plugs (not supplied) will adequately support
the weight of the reel and the tension of the hose as it is pulled from the reel.
3.2
Ensure that the hose reel is located so that the hose can be operated without causing unnecessary sideways force.
3.3
It is recommended that two people fit the reel to the chosen surface, one to support the weight and the second to secure the reel
using the bolt holes (Fig 1 ). Four sturdy masonry bolts are suitable for securing the hose reel, providing they give ample support
during the unreeling/reeling of the hose.
3.4
Attach the hose to the 13mm (1/2”) fitting (Fig 1) and wind it onto the reel taking care to guide the hose from one side of the reel to the
other to prevent bunching of the hose.
3.5
Attach the supply hose to the 13mm (1/2”) external fitting.
