Concrete Wall
A 45° down elbow with a rodent screen
may be used in place of the termination cap
(or stainless steel termination hood).
Installation to use if there is a concrete or
retaining wall in line with exhaust vent on
pellet stove.
The termination must be 305mm (12”) from
the outside wall and 305mm (12”) above
the ground.

• Follow vent manufacturer’s guidelines for installation of venting. High temperature sealant must be
used when connecting the vent pipe to the unit’s starter pipe. Improper seals at the vent joints may
cause combustion byproducts to leak into the room where installed - seal as required..
