• Your camera requires a special QV Camera USB cable.

Use of a commercially available USB cable or the option-
ally available QC-1U USB cable is not supported.

• Never disconnect the USB cable while a data communica-

tion operation is in progress. Doing so can corrupt memory
data.

• USB data communication is supported in both the REC

mode and PLAY mode.

Disconnecting the USB Cable

Windows Me, 98

Disconnect the USB cable from the camera and then turn off
the camera.

Windows 2000

On your computer screen, click card services in the task tray,
and then disable the drive number assigned to the camera.
Next, disconnect the USB cable from the camera and then
turn off the camera.

Macintosh

Use Finder to drag the camera drive to the trashcan. Next,
disconnect the USB cable from the camera and then turn off
the camera.

• After finishing USB data communication, use the pre-

scribed method to disconnect the USB cable.

• You cannot turn off the camera while the USB cable is con-

nected. Disconnect the USB cable first when you want to
turn off the camera.
