Remove the lens cap
from the lens.

compose the image on the monitor
screen, and press the shutter re-
lease button half way to focus the
image.
Align the exposure
mode dial with
(Full Auto Mode).

Align the drive mode dial
with (1-Image).

After confirming that the Auto
Focus operation is complete (the
operation lamp lights green),
press the shutter release button
all the way down to record the
image.
