Press the shutter release button to start the
self-timer countdown.
• The AF assist light/self-timer lamp flashes as the sec-
onds are counted down. If you have the monitor
screen turned on, the seconds are counted down on
the screen.
• To stop a countdown part way through, press the shut-
ter release button.
NOTES
• The hand-shake limiter is enabled when you use a
slow shutter speed and the two-second self-timer at
the same time.
• You cannot use the self-timer in combination with the
Continuous Shutter Mode.

timer settings described below.
