Heart Rate
Complaint: Goes very high initially
Probable Cause: Corrupt software. Return console for software update.
Complaint: Chest Strap won’t pick up
Probable Cause: Customer using non Polar compatible chest strap
Complaint: Contact HR Handles will not work
Potential Cause: It may take as long as 15 seconds for the HR to display for
some people. This can be affected by low heart rates, dry
hands, individuals with a weak electrical signal. The flashing Hr
sign may go to zero, but it is still trying to acquire HR.
Potential Cause: The customer must place their hands on the grip such that the
metal portion of the upper sensor lies across the palm as in the
picture.
