Explanation of the Slides:
In a slide you determine the contents to be displayed by the Sunny Matrix. A slide is displayed by
the Sunny Matrix as soon as it is next in the displaying order, just like a slide in a slide projector.
Creating Slides (Example):
Two slides are to be created:
• A slide is to be saved as
[5]
and the following data is to be displayed:
In the display area
[1]
the slide is to show the English sentence “Welcome to Solar Future“.
The sentence will automatically be displayed as running banner since the sentence is
longer than the available 16 positions in the display area. Simultaneously, the time is to be
displayed in the display area
[2]
.
• A slide is to be saved as
[6]
and the following data is to be displayed:
In the display area
[7]
the slide is to display the English word “Power“. At the same time, the
slide is to display the output of the PV plant in the display area
[8]
.

Select “Display > Slide“.

In the area “Select a slide“ select [5].

Activate the first selection field and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:
“Defined display“ 1, “Value“ Text. Enter the following English sentence in the field
“Text entry“: Welcome to Solar Future.

Activate another selection field and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:
“Defined display“ 2, “Value“ Time.

Select [Save].

In the area “Select a slide“ click on [6].

Activate the first selection field and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:
“Defined display“ 7, “Value“ Text. Enter Power: in the field “Text entry“.

Activate another selection field and select the following settings in the drop-down lists:
“Defined display“ 8, “Value“ Power.

Select [Save].
Explanation of the Slide Shows:
A slide show is a compilation of slides to be displayed. Every slide show has a start time. One
slide show stops when another slide show is started.
A slide show is already predefined and noted for you on the configuration sheet before
shipping the Sunny Matrix. You can see which slide show is selected if you go to “Display >
Slide Show“ in the “Slide Show Overview“ area. Make sure that you have not assigned a start
time twice.
You can display a preview of the current slide show if you go to “Start“ [Preview]. Further
information on the preview can be found in the user manual.
Creating Slide Show (Example):
One slide show is to be created. This slide show is to be saved as [3] with the following
settings:
• Start time is 2.00 pm.
• Slide show shall contain the slides
[5]
and
[6].
• Slide
[5]
is to be displayed first for 120 seconds.
• Afterwards slide
[6]
is to be displayed for 30 seconds.
