2 Intended Use
The Sunny Remote Control is the external display for off-grid inverters/backup inverters without a
display. You can configure and control the off-grid system/Sunny Backup system with the
Sunny Remote Control.
The Sunny Remote Control is only suitable for indoor use.
Use the Sunny Remote Control with the data cable included in the delivery, or with a CAT5e-FTP patch
cable with RJ45 plug. Take the maximum cable length of 20 m into consideration.
For safety reasons, it is not permitted to modify the product or install components that are not explicitly
recommended or distributed by SMA Solar Technology AG for this product.
The enclosed documentation is an integral part of the product.
