Remove side lights before mounting side shields (Ref.#2 &3).
Mount the front side shields (left and right) to the trailer frame
stake pocket using a front shield shim (Ref.#1), 3/8” X 2” hex
bolt (Ref.#5) and oversized flat washer (Ref.#8). Secure with
a 3/8” lock washer (Ref.#9) and 3/8” hex nut (Ref.#11).
Mount the front side shields to the front shield bottom using
four (4) 1/4” X 3/4” hex bolts (Ref.#4). Secure with 1/4” flat
washers (Ref.#7), 1/4” lock washers (Ref.#6), and 1/4” hex
nuts (Ref.#10).
After mounting the side shields, remount the side lights with
#10 X 3/4” self tapping screws to the side shields in
approximately the same location.
Refer to the parts drawing for proper placement.
