The SS938, SS939 & TA1134 loadguides are the same design and

mount in a similar manner. The difference between the loadguides

is the amount of adjustment they have for width adjustment. The

TA1134 loadguide has 3” more height than the others making it a

more desirable fit on some boats. The following instructions are for

mounting either of the above mentioned loadguides.

Break open the bundle and sort all items by size. Note that the load-

guides have a right and left arm weldment. They must be mounted

as shown so that the longer portion of the bunk from the center of

the arm weldment mounting bracket is to the rear of the trailer.

Locate and position the loadguide in or out to best fit your boat.

There should be approximately 1” clearance between the load-

guide carpeted bunk and the side of the boat. Once positioned lo-

cate one of the U-bolts supplied. Drop it down through the pair of

slotted holes in the arm weldment that best lines up with the notch

in the end bracket welded on the end of the rear pivot. Note that the

U-bolt legs will be on the front and rear sides of the rear pivot arm.

Placing the U-bolt as just described gives you a position so the

loadguides can be mounted the same distance from the centerline

of the trailer. Place a load guide clamp onto the legs of the U-bolt

on the bottom side of the rear pivot arm. Next thread on the 1/2”

flange lock nuts.

Place a second U-bolts down through the desired pair of slotted

holes in the arm weldment so that the U-bolt legs are again posi-

tioned on the front and rear side of the rear pivot arm. Place a load

guide clamp onto the legs of the U-bolt on the bottom side of the

rear pivot arm. Next thread on the 1/2” flange lock nuts. Tighten all

nuts.

Repeat this process on the loadguide for the other side of the trail-

er. Assembly is complete.
