PRE-RIDE INSPECTION

Tires

To ensure maximum performance, long service and safe operation, note the fol-

lowing:

Tire Air Pressure

Tire air pressure should be

checked and adjusted before

operating the motorcycle and

also when a passenger or lug-

gage is carried. Refer to the tire

pressure chart below to deter-

mine which tire pressures

should be used for different

loads and riding conditions.

Tire Inspection

A tire inspection should be per-

formed before operating the mo-

torcycle. If a tire tread shows

crosswise

lines

(minimum

thread depth), if the tire has a for-

eign object, or if the sidewall is

cracked, contact a Victory dealer

and have the tire replaced. Us-

ing a tread depth gauge (1),

measure the tread of the tires.

You should have at least 1/16″

(1.6 mm) of tread.

WARNING: It is danger-

ous to ride with a worn out tire.

When a tire has less than 1/16″

(1.6 mm) of tread, have a Victory

dealer replace the tire immedi-

ately. Brakes, tires, and related

wheel parts replacement should

be performed by a Victory Ser-

vice Technician.

NOTE: The Victory motorcycle is equipped with tubeless tires and cast wheels.
