Operation

3.1 Power

3.1.1 Power configuration

The Reflex SuperXpander, camera and viewfinder are powered by the base station via the Triax
or Hybrid fiber transmission cable. The Reflex SuperXpander is receiving its power through the
HotShoe connector of the camera adapter.

Note

The maximum allowed power consumption of the system depends on the configuration and
the usage of the system.

3.1.2 Cable length

The maximum length of the transmission cable depends on the amount of power drawn by the
utility power and the camera configuration, including any attached accessories.

3.1.3 Utility power

The Reflex SuperXpander is equipped with a utility power that can be used to power external
equipment. Two 4-pin XLR sockets are available at the base of the unit:
