Operation
Summary
When a source is preset, prior to a take, the level buttons show the preset source on the middle
line of text and the buttons turn yellow:
After a take, the level buttons show the new source on the top line of text and on the XY status
button:
The bottom line of text always shows the level mnemonic.
Level Mapping
If a level was level-mapped, the first line is reverse-field and the middle line shows the source
level for the mapping.
MD Devices
In multi-destination (MD) mode, a set of selection buttons presents a set of MD devices. To
perform an MD take, you assign sources to as many MD devices as you like and then press ‘Take’.
The multiple takes occur simultaneously. Call these “dest” buttons for the sake of simplicity.
In this example, sources CAM4 and CAM5 were preset to 2 destinations, MON1 and MON2,
respectively:
The top line of text shows the current source. The middle line of text shows the preset source.
The bottom line shows the destination.
After a take, the preset source becomes the current source. The buttons show the current source
on the top line:
If a breakaway occurred (in X-Y mode) for a particular destination, the MD destination button
shows the destination mnemonic in reverse-field.
