The Config menu shown below provides controls for the output mode:
• Mode – select between Program/Preview, Key/Fill and Dual Channel modes.
Program/Preview mode provides separate Program and Preview outputs. In
Program/Preview Mode the Pgm output appears on the BNCs labeled Program 1,
Program 2, Program 3, and Program 4. The Pvw signal appears on the BNCs
labeled Preview 1 and Preview 2. The Pvw output will show what the Next Tran
will be.
Key/Fill mode provides separate Fill and Key signal outputs. In Fill/Key Mode the
Fill signal appears on the BNCs labeled Program 1, Program 2, Program 3, and
Program 4. The Key signal appears on the BNCs labeled Preview 1 and Preview 2.
Dual Channel mode provides two independent program outputs from the 7420.
Either or both of the keyers can be used in either the Program A or Program B
outputs. In Dual Channel Mode the Program A signal appears on the BNCs labeled
Program 1, Program 2, Program 3, and Program 4. The Program B signal appears
on the BNCs labeled Preview 1 and Preview 2.
• Pgm A Default – select the default mode for Program A: Key 1 Only, Key 2 Only
or Both Keys.
• Pgm B Default – select the default mode for Program B: Key 1 Only, Key 2 Only
or Both Keys.
