Place black embers around logs as shown , do not completely block the holes in the burner.

N O T E
Logs #1, #3 and #4 have been crafted to allow airflow from under the logs. DO NOT crush the bottom of the
logs to make these sit flush with the top of the burner. Care must also be taken to not completely block the
front of the logs with embers.
DO NOT block under log air paths.
