Use of telnet

ENGLISH

The following window will appear. Type as follows and then press the

Connect

button.

Host name

: 192.168.0.2

(type projector IP address)
Port

: telnet or 23

Terminal type : vt100

When communication is established, the word “PASSWORD:” appears on the
window. Type the login password* for the projector and then press the “Enter”
key on the keyboard. If you do not register the login password, just press the
“Enter” key.
When the word “Hello” is replied, login has been successful.

Type the commands from the key board to control the external equipment and
then enter the “Enter” key for termination. For example, type “C00” and enter the
“Enter” key. The projector will be turned on. The “C00” is a command to turn the
projector on.

To disconnect the communication, select the

Disconnect

sub menu from the

Connect

pulldown menu. To quit the telnet application, select the

Quit telnet

sub

menu from the

Connect

menu.

* The password is a login password decided on page 17 or 30. If the authentication of the

entered password is failed 4 times continuously, the communication will be disconnected
automatically. Please try again for the connection.
