Initial Set-Up Guide

1. Using the Ethernet

Using the Ethernet cable provided, connect the DSL or Cable modem to the LAN 1
port on the back of the Sip Server.

2. Connect the Ethernet

Connect the Ethernet (LAN) port of your Router or your computer by using your own
Ethernet cable into the LAN 1 port on the back of the Sip Server.

3. Power on the Sip Server

Power on the Sip Server by using the AC Adapter provided.

4. Optional: Connect the Serial Cable

Connect your computer to the serial port on the back of the SIP Server. Use the
Hyper Terminal to open a session to the Rescue Console Menu.

5. Optional Set-up:

Connect the Sip Server LAN 1 port to your Router instead of DSL or Cable modem.
Teletronics recommend places the Sip Server in front of Router to maximize the
voice quality.

6. Configuring from Web Browser:

Linux Sip Server LAN IP: http://192.168.10.241:10000
USER ID: sa Password: sa

SIP Module IP Address: http://192.168.10.241
User ID: sa
Password: sa

Maximum Number of Concurrent Calls 30 -(Concurrent connections available when tested a
Pentium 800MHz with 128MB of RAM in 100M Ethernet network. Connection numbers may
vary depending on network condition. Not using a NAT Traversal, will increase the number of
possible connections.
