Software Getting Started

Your software includes:

Diamond DSP single proc and Diamond FPGA single proc
They form a unified development environment which takes care of the low-level
details and let you concentrate on the hi-level tasks that make up your project.

We recommend you to browse carefully the following documents to get the most out
of your Diamond Kit.

It is important that you both get proficient with the Diamond IDE and are able to build
by yourself the basic 'Hello World' Diamond example.

We provide you with a Diamond IDE project with full source code to let you test your
system.


This project can be used as a blueprint for further development on your part.

Please read the included PDF file which explains how to import the archived sub-
projects into a new workspace.

We recommend you to run this diamond application via the Diamond Server:

1.

Open the Diamond Server.

2.

Select Options from the View menu of the Diamond Server, and then select
the Advanced tab.

3.

Tick the checkbox called: "Do not issue a reset before running an application".
Click on OK.
