to improve material transport.

PRINT UNITS –Hold the inkjet cartridges. Used to adjust the vertical print position.
The Envelope Imager XT 3.0 contains 3 Print Units; one capable of holding a single cartridge, one is
capable of holding 2 ink cartridges and one capable of holding 3 ink cartridges (6 ink cartridges, for a
total of 3” print height)
The Envelope Imager XT 4.0 (shown above) contains 4 Print Units; one is capable of holding 3 ink
cartridges, two are capable of holding 2 ink cartridges each and one is capable of holding 1 ink
cartridge. (8 ink cartridges, for a total of 4” print height)

MEDIA SENSOR – Keep this area clean (see Section 4 “Maintenance”).

INK CARTRIDGE LATCH LEVERS – Secures the inkjet cartridge into the Pen Stall.

PEN STALL – The area where the inkjet cartridge is inserted.

EXIT ROLLERS – These adjustable rollers help to smoothly eject the media from the unit.
