REMKO
ELECTRIC BOOSTER HEATER FOR
HEAT PUMP STORAGE TANK
Installation may only be performed
by authorised specialists.
NOTE
1. Empty the storage tank on the
water side.
2. Remove the corresponding
blanking plug on the tank.
For possible positions, see page 8.
3. Use hemp to seal the electric
heating coil.
4. Screw the heating coil into the
selected screw-in fitting.
5. Fill up the water side and bleed the
storage tank and, if necessary the
whole system.
6. Perform leak testing on the system.
7. Insert the cables into the
electrical switch cabinet.
1. Open the electrical switch
cabinet in the indoor unit.
2. Place the contactor provided
on site on the top-hat rail in
the switch cabinet.
3. Connect the following wires:
- Phase L from terminal X1.1 to
terminal X2.4
- Wire from terminal X2.5 to
contactor A1
- Wire from contactor A2 to
terminal X1.2
Mains supply from sub-distribution:
- Connect to following contactor
contacts
L1 to 1
L2 to 3
L3 to 5
Connect booster heater supply
to contactor contacts
L1 to 2
L2 to 4
L3 to 6
4. Close cable ducts and the
electrical switch cabinet.
5. Set the system temperature on the
thermostat on the heating element
and the bivalence point in the heat
pump manager, while noting the
required supply temperature of your
heating system.
6. Reattach the housing panels
and put back into service.
