Creating or Editing a Processing Instance
In order to prepare audio for broadcast, processing is used to prepare the audio for airplay. Whether the
audio will be archived, automated, or used as a one-off piece, processing can systematically maintain a com-
mon sound throughout the digital audio collection. Omnia Audio’s proven audio processing can be used to
lock down a common denominator for each digital collection to which the media is being added.
When installed to a new system File Processor provides the “Default” processing instance. The default preset
uses Sparkle Omnia processing preset and
128 kbps 44100 Hz stereo MP3
file as output. By default this
instance will try to output the file to C:\OUTPUT folder. If the folder does not already exist, the instance will
log an error due to being unable to write the output folder and not complete the process.
The instance name can consist of numbers, English alphabet letters, space, and characters “-” or “_”. The
name cannot be blank and must be unique within the list of other instances.
