NCast N-Way Reference Manual
The preferred address ranges to use are administratively scoped multicast addresses with the most locally
scoped range available. See the discussion on multicast addresses in the Telepresenter Reference Manual.
2.3.3.Maximum Session Count
The Maximum Session Count limits the maximum number of Telepresenters which may be connected
simultaneously using this account. For a service provider this allows limits on units in use and gives the provider
an opportunity to charge higher fees for larger accounts.
Also, since this limits the number of concurrent sessions, it may be used as a method to restrict the total
bandwidth consumption of the account. Bandwidth usage over the desired level may not be appropriate for the
facilities of the network connection providing the N-Way service.
For simple multicast bridging, no further server entries are required. The account names, serial numbers and
multicast addresses are all that’s needed to connect multiple Telepresenters for streaming or collaboration work.

HANNELS
If part of the N-Way Service requirement is live streaming to desktops, then Account Channels must be created.
An Account Channel defines the multicast addresses to be viewed by the desktop Viewer.
