When a viewer logs into the Viewer Portal the Media Archives content summaries are displayed.
The presentation of summaries is dependent on the viewing rights of the user (specifically the user's Roles – see
the discussion of Roles in Section 2.3 ). This means that if a viewer is not privileged to see a certain video, it will
not appear as a thumbnail nor will its descriptive information be searchable.
Simply clicking on any thumbnail will launch playback of the video.

By entering terms in the Search field the viewer can request to see any video where the descriptive or metadata
information matches the search keywords.
3.2 V IDEO P LAYER
The PS video player is an advanced design multi-stream, multi-window, user-controlled playback tool which
supports presentation of many aspects of the video content beyond simple rendering of the media.
