StarFire
™ [Subscription Required]
The ability to receive NavCom’s unique
StarFire
™
correction service is fully integrated within each unit
with no additional equipment required. A single set of
corrections can be used globally enabling a user to
achieve decimeter level positioning accuracy without
the need to deploy a separate
base station
, thus saving
time and capital expenditure.
StarFire™ position accuracies are referenced to
the
ITRF2000
datum.
A horizontal geodetic datum may consist of the
longitude and latitude of an initial point (origin); an
azimuth of a line (direction) to some other
