To drain coolant, prepare a drain pan, remove the
radiator cap, then loosen the drain plug.

Be sure to also unfasten the drain plug on the engine
cylinder block for drainage.

When the coolant is completely drained out, close each
drain plug, and supply new coolant into the radiator
filler port.

After changing the coolant, run the engine under
unloaded operation for 2 to 3 minutes, then stop it.
Check the coolant level again and replenish it if
necessary.
6.9.2 Clean Outside the Radiator
When the radiator fins are clogged by dust or other
foreign materials, the heat exchange efficiency drops
and this will raise coolant temperature. These fins
should be cleaned as required when dirty.
Do not use high pressure washer for cleaning. Fins
may be damaged.
