BATTERY STORAGE AND CHARGING INFORMATION
Time and temperature will automatically affect a battery’s performance during extended periods of storage.
This drop in performance is called “self-discharge” and cannot be avoided.
When batteries are stored over long periods, the following
charging guidelines are suggested:
• 68°F to 86°F (20°C to 30°C) Charge every 3 months for 5-8 hours.
• Lower than 68°F (20°C) Charge every 6 months for 16-24 hours.
• Do not store batteries over 86°F (30°C).
Normally you may not get 100% performance back after
storage during the first charge. This means the batteries
may need more than one recharge cycle. Please
discharge the recharge for 3 cycles.
