5.13 Removing a paper jam
∗ To make it easier to remove a sheet or scrap of paper jammed inside the machine, each unit can be removed or
opened as shown below.
∗ The main remedy for handling paper jams are explained later in this manual. Deal with it according to the
location and type of error.
Before trying to remove a sheet or scrap of paper jammed inside the machine, first turn off the power
switch. Otherwise your hand may be caught in the machine or you could receive an electric shock.
