Local Control
The Local Control setting determines whether the instrument will play an internal sound when the keys are
pressed. This setting is useful when using the CL26 digital piano to control an external MIDI device.

(default)
The instrument will play an internal sound and transmit information to an external MIDI device.

The instrument will transmit information to an external MIDI device only.

Changing the Local Control setting
Press and hold the METRONOME and CONCERT MAGIC buttons simultaneously, then press the E2 key to select the Local Control
setting.
While still holding the METRONOME and CONCERT MAGIC buttons, press the key assigned to the desired Local Control setting.
The selected Local Control setting will be applied immediately.
* When the instrument is turned on, the Local Control setting will return to the default of ‘On’.
* Use the included Function Labels (page 10) to reference the CL26’s MIDI settings more conveniently.
