Instructions for Use
Product description
IPS Contrast Spray is used to achieve optimum recordings for
CAD/CAM restorations (e.g. inLab
® ). The IPS Contrast Spray
balances out the different optical properties of the stone
model and thus permits optimum recording using a scanner.
With the atomizing nozzle, an optimum covering layer with a
detailed representation of the edges is achieved easily and
efficiently with only a short spray discharge.
Indication
– Extra-oral application (plaster die / plaster model) for lab-
side use
Application restrictions
– Application of the spray on unsuitable and dried surfaces
Contraindication
– Intra-oral application
General note
Failure to observe the application restrictions or stipulated
working steps may result in failure.
Composition
Pigment suspension in ethanol. The propellant is a mixture of
propane/butane.
Side effects
Side effects are not known to date. In individual cases,
allergic reactions may occur.
Processing
Preparation for spraying
1. Attach spray cannula to the can and turn the nozzle to the
correct position.
2. The nozzle can be rotated 360° to achieve an optimum
position to reach the areas to be spray coated.
3. The spray cannula can be slightly bent. However, never
kink it at a right angle.
4. Clean the surface to be spray coated and dry thoroughly.
5. Shake well before use.
Spray procedure
1. Carry out one short spray discharge to achieve a thin,
complete wetting.
2. The can must always be kept upright during spraying.
3. The spray head must be entirely pressed down during
spraying to prevent premature clogging of the atomizing
nozzle.
4. The distance from the nozzle to the surface to be coated
should be approximately 4 cm.
5. Conduct recording using the scanner according to the
manufacturer’s Instructions for Use.
Cleaning of the surfaces
1. Once the recording has been completed, the surface can
be cleaned using water and steam jet. To achieve
thorough cleaning of the surfaces, the procedure may
have to be repeated.
2. Blow out the atomizing nozzle using water and
steam jet to prevent it from clogging.
Caution
The container is under pressure. Protect from direct sunlight
and temperature over 50 °C / 122 °F. Do not open by force or
burn it, even once the container is empty. Keep it out of the
reach of children.

Produktebeschreibung
IPS Contrast Spray wird zur Erstellung optimaler Aufnahmen
bei CAD/CAM Restaurationen (z.B. inLab
® ) eingesetzt. Mit
dem IPS Contrast Spray werden die unterschiedlichen
optischen Eigenschaften des Gipsmodells ausgeglichen und
somit ein optimaler Scan ermöglicht. Durch die Vernebelungs-
düse wird einfach und effizient mit einem kurzen Sprühstoss
eine optimale Deckschicht mit detailgetreuer Kantendar-
stellung erreicht.
Anwendung
– Extraorale Applikation (Gipsstumpf / Gipsmodell)
Anwendungseinschränkungen
– Aufsprühen auf nicht gereinigte und nicht getrocknete
Oberflächen
Kontraindikation
– Intraorale Anwendung
Grundsätzlicher Hinweis
Das Nichtbeachten der aufgeführten Anwendungseinschrän-
kungen sowie Verarbeitungsschritte könnte zu einem
Misserfolg führen.
Zusammensetzung
Pigmentsuspension in Ethanol; Treibgas/Propan/Butan-
Gemisch.
Nebenwirkungen
Nebenwirkungen sind bisher nicht bekannt. In Einzelfällen
kann es zu allergischen Reaktionen kommen.
Verarbeitung
Vorbereitung zum Sprühen
1. Sprühkanüle auf die Spraydose aufsetzen
2. Die Düse kann um 360° gedreht werden, um eine ideale
Position zu den besprühenden Bereichen zu erreichen
3. Sprühkanüle kann leicht gebogen werden, jedoch niemals
rechtwinklig abknicken
4. Zu besprühende Oberflächen reinigen und gut trocknen
5. Spraydose vor dem Sprühstoss gut schütteln.
Sprühvorgang
1. Kurze Sprühstösse durchführen, um eine dünne und
vollständige Benetzung zu erreichen
2. Während des Sprühvorgangs die Dose unbedingt senkrecht
halten
3. Beim Sprühvorgang den Sprühkopf unbedingt ganz durch-
drücken, um ein vorzeitiges Verstopfen der Vernebelungs-
düse zu vermeiden
4. Der Abstand von Sprühdüse zur besprühenden Oberfläche
soll ca. 4 cm betragen
5. Scan entsprechend der Herstellerangaben durchführen
Reinigung der Oberflächen
1. Nach dem durchgeführten Scan kann die Oberfläche mit
Wasser und Dampfstrahler gereinigt werden. Um eine
vollständige Reinigung der Oberflächen zu erreichen, ist
der Vorgang eventuell zu wiederholen.
2. Die Vernebelungsdüse nach der Anwendung kurz mit
Wasser und Dampfstrahler freiblasen, um ein Verstopfen zu
vermeiden.
Gefahrenhinweise
Behälter steht unter Druck. Vor Sonneneinstrahlung und
Temperaturen über 50°C schützen. Auch nach Gebrauch nicht
gewaltsam öffnen oder verbrennen. Darf nicht in Hände von
Kinder gelangen.

Description du produit
Le Spray IPS Contrast sert à optimiser la qualité des
enregistrements pour les restaurations CAD/CAM (par ex.
inLab
® ). Grâce au Spray de contraste IPS, les différentes
propriétés optiques du modèle en plâtre s'équilibrent, d'où un
enregistrement optimal avec le Scan. La buse de projection
orientable facilite l'application d'une fine et régulière couche
de poudre de contraste permettant un enregistrement précis
et détaillé des limites et surfaces de la préparation.
Utilisation
– Application extra-orale ("die" en plâtre/modèle en plâtre)
Restrictions d'emploi
– Vaporisation sur les surfaces souillées et sèches
Contre-indication
– L’utilisation intra-orale
Information principale
Un non-respect des restrictions d'emploi et des procédures de
mise en œuvre peut conduire à un échec.
Composition
Suspension pigmentaire dans l'éthanol; le gaz combustible est
une mixture du butane/propane.
Effets secondaires
Aucun n'est connu à ce jour.
Dans quelques cas isolés, des réactions allergiques peuvent se
révéler.
Mise en œuvre
Préparation pour la pulvérisation
1. Insérer la canule d'injection sur l'aérosol et bien
positionner la buse
2. La buse peut être tournée à 360° afin d'obtenir une
position optimale par rapport aux zones à vaporiser
3. La canule d'injection peut se plier facilement, aussi ne
jamais la tourner de façon perpendiculaire
4. Nettoyer et bien sécher les surfaces à vaporiser
5. Agiter bien avant usage
Procédure à suivre pour la pulvérisation
1. Effectuer des courtes pulvérisation pour obtenir un feuil
pellicule et complète
2. Pendant la pulvérisation, tenir absolument l'aérosol de
façon verticale
3. Pendant la pulvérisation, extruder entièrement la tête de
l'aérosol pour éviter l'obstruction prématurée de la buse
4. La distance entre la buse et la surface à vaporiser doit être
environ de 4 cm
5. Enregistrer avec le Scan selon le mode d’emploi du
fabricant.
Entretien des surfaces
1. Après l'enregistrement avec le Scan, la surface de la
préparation peut être nettoyée avec de l'eau et le jet à
vapeur. Pour obtenir des surfaces entièrement propres,
renouveler éventuellement la procédure.
2. Après l'application, nettoyer brièvement la buse à l'eau et
au jet à vapeur pour éviter toute obstruction.
Consignes de sécurité
Le récipient est sous pression. Il est à protéger des rayons
solaires et des températures supérieures à 50°C. Même après
utilisation, ne pas l'ouvrir avec force ou le brûler. Ne doit pas
être entre les mains d'un enfant.
