TROUBLESHOOTING
The complexity of the circuits require that service technicians have a working knowledge of inverter
power supply theory. In addition to being technically qualified, technicians must perform all testing
with safety in mind.
If questions or problems arise during servicing, call the Hypertherm Technical Services Department
at the phone numbers listed in the front of this manual.
Test Equipment

Troubleshooting Procedures and Sequence

Refer to the system wiring diagram when performing the
troubleshooting procedures.
•
To locate power supply components refer to Section 4.
Refer to Section 5 for torch components.
•
After the problem has been located and repaired, refer
to the
Sequence of Operation flow diagram in this
section to test the power supply for proper operation.
