2 – Torch Setup
Install the hand torch consumables
To operate the long handheld torch, a complete set of consumable parts must be installed: shield, retaining cap, nozzle,
swirl ring, and electrode. Torches ship without consumables installed. Pull off the vinyl cap before installing your
consumables.
With the power switch in the OFF (O) position, install the torch consumables as shown.
WARNING!
INSTANT-ON TORCHES
PLASMA ARC CAN CAUSE INJURY AND BURNS
The plasma arc comes on immediately when the torch trigger is activated. Make sure the
power is OFF before changing consumables.
