Securing your Freecom Mobile
Drive Secure:
a. Run the Freecom Mobile Drive
Secure Protection software and
follow the confi guration steps.
b. When requested, move the two
security keycards over the sensor.

No key: LED is blinking red, four
beeps when ready for the fi rst key
After fi rst key: LED is blinking
green, two short beeps
when fi rst key was accepted
After second key: LED is constantly
green, two short beeps when
second key was accepted
Save manuals, software and
support:
Windows: in MyComputer, select the
Freecom HDD and double click „Start
PC.exe“ to access preloaded info on
the drive: manuals, software, support
information
Mac: Select the Freecom HDD on the
Mac desktop and double click „Start
Mac“ to access preloaded info on the
drive: manuals, software, support
